Another Fan Made Transformers Short Film

The third and final film of Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy called "Dark of the Moon" came out this summer receiving fairly mixed by mostly negative reviews from critics and cinema-goers alike.
And while the series will most likely be put to rest for at least for another decade or so, some fans continue to be inspired by the movie creating their own short films.

After last year's awesome fan-made clip from the then 21-year old Alexander Vladimirovich Semenov from Russia, we will soon have another new short film that is currently being prepared by 19-year old Robert Kouba from Switzerland.

Robert sent us a teaser trailer of his film that called "Transformers: The Last Energon Crystal". Here's what the aspiring young producer told Carscoop:

"My name is Robert Kouba and I'm a Swiss filmmaker. I am currently working on a fan made Transformers short film called: "Transformers: The Last Energon Crystal". It was a lot of work (you can check out some behind the scenes here: http://thelastenergoncrystal.tumblr.com/ ). The final short film will be up soon."

There are many good reasons why exotic supercar bloopers capture our attention. For one, these vehicles are extremely rare and cost a fortune to fix even for the smallest of damages.

Another, less noble reason, could be that some of these gaffes make you feel better knowing that, even if you will never ever be able to afford such a ride, at least you won't make a fool out of yourself on film by trying to find the reverse gear, are unable to park or by being so careless or caught up with yourself that you didn't notice the Audi that was behind you…

Just Some Drifting Fun at the Local Parking Lot

Skilled drivers with a certain amount of experience behind the wheel don't need a lot of space to have some fun with their cars - and without getting into the same trouble as the owner of this white Corvette C6...

The video that follows after the break was shot in Taiwan and it shows a couple of dozen local drivers with their modded cars practicing their drifting skills on a relatively small parking lot marked with cones.

Former BMW Employees Charged with Misdemeanor after taking New 1 M Coupe for a Spin in L.A.

What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what you upload on the web is there for the entire world to see.

And that's one lesson learned the hard way for Vacheh Margoussian, 21, and Artin Yazidjian, 22, both of which were employed as a valet and a tire technician respectively at the Pacific BMW dealership in Los Angeles when they allegedly took a brand-new 1 M Coupe for a joyride and uploaded a video on Youtube.

Now, both men have not only lost their jobs but are also facing misdemeanor charges filed by the LA County district attorney’s office.

The young men, employees of Pacific BMW at the time, took a newly delivered BMW 1 M Coupe out for a high-speed ride at East Windsor Road on August 12. Margoussian was sitting behind the wheel of the turbocharged coupe, which still had its plastic covers and window stickers in place, and Yazidjian videotaped the ride from the passenger’s seat.

Now, taking a brand-new car that’s about to be delivered to someone who has actually paid for it for a joyride is, in itself, not a commendable action.

Uploading the video of your deeds on YouTube -of all places- the next day is an epic fail and proves beyond doubt that you simply don’t realize how the real world works.

The incident became a talking point among BMW fans on the web, the police found out about it a month later, and on September 14, they finally arrested the two wrong-doers.

The owner of the car was informed about the incident, but it is not known whether he has returned or kept the car.

Motorcyclist Hops Back on Seat, Saves his Life

Of all the "Chuck Norris Approved" videos that we've shown you over time, this one definitely takes the cake. The accident, which involves a small hatchback crashing into a motorcycle, took place on a busy highway in Bangalore, India on November 21.Upon a first look at the security camera footage, it seems that the rider was simply incredibly lucky for making it out alive when the driver of a white hatchback steered to the right of the road hitting his motorcycle.

However, once you slow down the clip (or hit pause and play constantly), you will see that the alert motorcyclist moves towards the back of the bike just before the crash escaping the worse. The careless driver of the car did not stop to see the outcome of the accident he caused. Watch the entire clip after the break.

Chinese Motorcycle Rain…Tent :)

Unlike other motor vehicle operators, motorcyclists are exposed to the elements of nature, be that wind, rain, snow or temperature extremes.

Of course, when the weather gets rough and tough, the smart thing to do is just find another mode of transportation, but sometimes that's not an option for all people.

Fortunately, at least when it comes to light rain and snow, there's an abundance of waterproof apparel available in the market. And then there's this: one Chinese company has come up with a very bizarre solution that looks a lot more like a tent than motorcycle gear.

It can even fit two people though something tells us that you wouldn't want to be caught in one if anything bad were to happen…

Chrysler 300 See it Through with Mannish Boy

We'll admit that the title may seem like yours truly forgot to take his meds today – but for better or for worse, that’s not the case. You see, all three quotes come from Chrysler's new 60-second ad that will air on Thanksgiving Day during the Lions-Packers football game.

“See it Through” is a 1917 poem by Michigan poet laureate, Edgar A. Guest. The carmaker says that it's appropriate since it exemplifies the comeback of Detroit and Chrysler.

“This new ad is a humble thanksgiving nod to everyone who has believed in Chrysler’s resurgence”, said Saad Chehab, President and CEO of Chrysler Brand.

“Year-over-year Chrysler sales were up 28% last month, the best October sales since 2007, and Chrysler 300 retail sales more than doubled. Chrysler has taken Guest’s words to heart, ‘seeing it through’ with sales growth and award-winning products," he added.

The spot shows a Chrysler 300 driving through various neighborhoods in Detroit, with a voice reciting Guest’s poem while Muddy Waters’ “Mannish Boy” is playing on the background. It ends with “The new Chrysler 300. More than just our flagship”, accompanied by the firm's now famous, “Imported from Detroit” tag that we first heard during the Super Bowl.

But for those that love a good ending, a couple of months later, our Japanese protagonist got his web redemption (that's what you get from watching too much Tosh.0) by returning to the circuit and completing several laps without a hitch.

Amazing Driving Skills from Super 7 Driver

The Seven, be that the original Lotus model or one of its many clones produced throughout the years, may be extremely light and nimble, but it also packs mighty punch and can easily turn around and bite you just when you're least expecting it -a fact that makes this driver's skills all the more impressive.

This five-year old video was said to have been shot during the Hagley and District Light Car Club's annual international autotest event in England, with some claiming that the Super Seven seen here is a Locost and not a Caterham model.

Whatever the brand, you have to admit that the man behind the wheel of the Seven, Christopher Evans, is one very talented driver. Watch the video for yourself right after the break.

Sons Arrange for Their Dad to be Reunited with his 1965 Chevy Impala after 20 Years

Cars are unlike any other machines. Sure, they serve a utilitarian purpose but a lot people are emotionally attached to their cars – and rightly so as regardless of their class or price and unlike other products, they can create some very powerful emotions.

Herb Younger is one of those people that love their cars. He owned a 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS and kept it until the 1980s, when he was forced to sell it to pay for his two sons’ tuition which, naturally, was his top priority at the time.

Herb didn’t know it then but two decades later, his sons, Jared and Derek, would spent five years searching in several states with the Impala’s VIN in hand, for their dad’s old car.

Their search ended when they eventually found it in Canada – and surprisingly, it was in perfect condition. So they bought it on the spot.

An unsuspecting Herb was playing with his grandchildren at a park when the Impala arrived along with Chevrolet and ad agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, who had made arrangements with his sons, capturing the meeting on film.

“The moment when he realizes his car has come back to him is priceless, and is a prime example of the emotional connection many people have with their Chevys,” said Chris Perry, vice president of Chevrolet’s Global Chevrolet Marketing and Strategy. “The story is moving because it's true.”

For some reason unknown to us, the Audi Q7 SUV has become an increasingly popular choice amongst stretch-limousine builders and promoters alike – especially after the demise of General Motors' Hummer brand.

You can find insanely stretched Q7s anywhere from the glamorous and glitzy Las Vegas Strip to the peaceful and scenic Greek coastal town of Nafpaktos, where these pictures were shot by Carscoop reader Christos P.

As you can see from the pictures, this particular Procrustean edition of Ingolstadt's flagship crossover is a promotional…vessel for the Johnny Walker whiskey brand.

Post-Soviet Russia, Moskvitch Sedans

Our automotive trip around the world today brings us to Mother Russia and this very odd-looking creation. To be honest, we had no idea what it was until we saw the credits at the end of the video clip.

As it turns out, this bizarre low rider is a custom coupe based on the Soviet-era Moskvitch 2140, which was a small four-door sedan built from 1976 to 1988. You can see a picture of the original model as well as the video of the chop-top Moskvitch right after the jump.

We're not ready to call this one a cuckoo job just yet as it may very well turn out to be one of those publicity stunts seeking to get some viral attention on Youtube, but even so, strapping a huge bird nest-like wooden fixture on the roof top of a Toyota station wagon with yellow caution tapes doesn't seem like a very safe idea…

Real Life Scooter Accident with a Super Mario Twist :)

What may be a painful incident for one person can be something to laugh about all day for another. Case in point, footage of a non-fatal accident between a careless motorcyclist riding a scooter and a barrier of flexible plastic poles, which has been edited to look like a Super Mario video game. Nissan Skyline Driver Drifts into Parking Spot

If we could somehow remove the…unsuspecting pedestrians who had to jump out of harm's way, we'd give the driver of this Nissan Skyline (possibly an R33 GTST Coupe) an A for the effort. But seriously, who in their right mind would do something like this on a public street full of people? Reckless to say the least. Skip over the jump to watch the clip. 

Extremely Close Call for Spectators at Rally

Over the years, we have seen plenty of accidents involving racing cars and spectators at rally courses all over the globe, and this one could have had a terrible outcome with many losses and severe injuries.

Mazda3 Driver Tries to Break Free from Tow Truck Claw

It might not be the best of quality, but this is one crazy video with an even more insane driver. Allow us to explain. The clip shows a Mazda3 sedan as it was being picked up by a tow truck's crane – perhaps for a parking violation or something of the sort.

Nothing weird about that. Well, not until you pay closer attention and see the Japanese model's brake lights going on and off and the wheels spinning – yes, the driver is inside the car and he's trying to break free from the metal claws!

Road Rage Quickly Escalates to a Boxing Match but Ends with a…Handshake!

"Road rage" is described as any display of aggression by a driver of any type of vehicle against another motorist because of something that happened on the road.And while most drivers will experience road rage in some form or another in their driving history, in most cases, these incidents leave only verbal insults ringing in their ears.

But once in a while, you get that crazy driver that will launch a physical attack and then…all hell breaks loose. And that's exactly what happened during this incident, which according to one of our readers, took place in the U.S. Ottawa, Canada.

The owner of the green VW Jetta tries to open the door of the black Honda Civic only to discover that the driver had locked the doors. He then breaks the Civic's mirror and throws it on the window, at which point the other driver comes out and well, let's just say that he taught the Jetta driver a lesson or two on fighting.

But we left the best for last: once the wrestling/boxing match was over and just before they entered their cars, the two men shook hands as if no fighting had taken place! Oh yeah, it's a crazy, crazy world out there….

Flooded Road in Thailand Causes One Accident after the Other :(

Ask any experienced driver and he or she will tell you that one of the worst things that can happen to you on the road is aquaplaning or hydroplaning.

This occurs when water in front of your car's tires builds up faster than the tires can pump out through their grooves and most often results in losing traction and control of your vehicle.

We can't say for sure, but this seems to be culprit for a series of accidents that purportedly took place on a flooded highway in Thailand. The slippery road caused more accidents than we could count. You can watch the scary video right after the jump.

Nissan 300ZX Wannabe Drifter

While more of a GT than a genuine sports car, the 1990s Nissan 300ZX (sold under the Fairlady Z nameplate in Japan), can be pretty fun in the right hands, even more so if you hit a wet roundabout after rain.

But going slideways in these type of conditions can be hazardous not only for your health but for the…natural surroundings as well as the driver of this blacked out 300ZX quickly found out. You can check out the video after the jump.
