Jaguar New Sport and Speed Packages for XJ Saloon

Not to be outdone by its German rivals in the premium sedan segment, Jaguar today launched two new performance packages for its flagship XJ saloon at the Dubai International Motor Show.

The new Sport Pack contains a number of exterior and interior design features and is available on all XJ models while Jaguar's second option, the Speed Pack, is exclusive to supercharged models equipped with the Sport Pack.
For an as-of-yet unspecified amount, the Sport Pack enhances the XJ with an aerodynamic kit that comprises of a front splitter beneath the bumper and a discrete bootlid lip.
Other exterior features include gloss black mesh finish for the upper and lower front grilles, newly designed split twin tailpipes and red painted brake callipers emblazoned with the Jaguar name that are mounted behind new 20-inch 'Venom' alloy wheels.
Inside, the package adds a pair of sport seats up front, while the interior is trimmed in softgrain leather available in two colors, Jet over Jet or Jet over Ivory. You also get machined stainless steel pedals engraved with the Jaguar name, Piano Black trim and carbon-fibre highlights.
As the name implies, the optional Speed Pack raises the electronically limited maximum speed from 155mph (250km/h) to 174mph (280km/h). It is available only on supercharged AJ-V8 models.
