After the announcement on the U.S. market NV3500 full-size van, Nissan released the first pictures and details of yet another new van, only this one is for the Asian region.
The brand-new NV350 will receive its world premiere at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show at the end of the month and go on sale in Japan next summer.
Nissan says that its new van, which will be available in both passenger and light commercial flavors, has grown in dimensions featuring a class leading cargo area of up to 3 meters in length (without the rear seats, of course).
On that note, the passenger version of the NV350 features 50:50 split fold-forward rear seats allowing the driver to make better use of the available space.
Other highlights include the keyless push-button ignition, which Nissan says is a first in a commercial vehicle, and a dash-mounted shift lever and a foot-operated parking brake that allow the use of a large capacity storage box located between the two front seats.
Further details including the powertrain options will be announced at the Tokyo Motor Show.
