Trailer for 21 Jump Street

"Get ready for a lifetime of being badass motherf**ckers." Columbia Pictures has debuted the first red band trailer for the upcoming comedy 21 Jump Street, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum as two cops who go undercover at a high school. Yes, this is the movie based on that 80's TV series, and Johnny Depp has some sort of cameo, but it's not in this. The trailer runs an excruciating 3 minutes long, giving us a good look at the characters and updated story on these cops crackin' down on drugs at school, but it does have some hilarious moments. The cast includes Ice Cube, Ellie Kemper and Johnny Simmons. Enjoy!
Watch the first red band trailer for Phil Lord & Chris Miller's 21 Jump Street, originally via Facebook:
An undercover police unit consisting of young looking officers (Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum) infiltrate high schools to control youth crime. Updated version of the classic late 80's TV show starring Johnny Depp.
21 Jump Street is co-directed by young filmmakers Phil Lord & Chris Miller, creators of "Clone High" and directors of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs before this. The screenplay was written by actors Jonah Hill and Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Project X) based on the Fox TV show. Columbia Pictures is bringing 21 Jump Street to theaters everywhere starting March 16, 2012 next year. Funny enough to see?
